Since the coming of Sauron to Dol Guldur, the surrounding Greenwood has become a place of fear and darkness - corrupted by the influence of the Necromancer, it become known by the new name of Mirkwood. Yet the shadow that had grown over the forest had not gone unnoticed by the wise, and to keep his return to Middle-earth a secret, Sauron fled to the East. His influence over the forest faded in the ensuing years, and Dol Guldur fell into ruin. This terrain collection contains six full Ruins of Dol GuldurT plastic scenery kits, themed around the dilapidated fortress of Dol Guldur - the Hill of Sorcery - in the southern reaches of Mirkwood.
These kits include statues, staircases, metal gates, dead trees, and loads of creeping vines, as well as grisly skulls and skeletal remains. The individual pieces of all six kits are fully modular, so they can be assembled in a variety of ways to create your own unique scenery pieces. This collection is comprised of an incredible 816 plastic components. This scenery is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.
