Companions on the sides, a map of Middle-Earth UNDER the surface, you can see through too! This is the AUTHENTIC LORD OF THE RINGS chess set. Officially licensed, real collectible, not knock off stuff. There are 32 pieces of course, they are pewter, and have green or blue bases felt to slide easy and not scratch. EACH detailed beauty was actually ok'd by the actor that played the character. The board is translucent so under the surface you see the map, it's pretty wild. NOW, look at the pictures and check the one that I show 3 pieces in a nook.

There are nooks like that all around the board, it's actually where you can store the pieces, so this whole thing becomes an elaborate decorative collectible when not being used. Or of course you'll have the actual boxes for both sides. My pictures aren't the greatest but I do have 10 or 15 more, I had to choose thee to show the most important parts of this item. The box it comes in is even beautiful. Well, i love it, its glossy and this entire thing is just spectacular. The board is 15x15" the pieces are approx 2-4", depending on who they are.

There is Gollum, Sauron, Saruman, and the powerful Nazgul on the DARK side. While the LIGHT side is formed by Gandalf, Frodo, Galadriel & Aragorn. I do sell 2 EXTRA separate sets of pieces, one side and the other side if interested. One 12 piece set from Return of the King, and 12 from The Two Towers film. I have to check which I have now.
